INOWATTIO – Referral Program Terms Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use and participation in the INOWATTIO Referral Program ("Program"). By participating in the Program, both the Referrer and the Referred User agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

Referrer – an existing INOWATTIO user who shares their unique referral link.

Referred User – a user who creates or already has an INOWATTIO account and applies the Referrer's link within the allowed timeframe.

Validated Unit – the first energy unit registered by the Referred User that is successfully verified and accepted by INOWATTIO according to internal technical and compliance procedures.

Reward – the benefit granted to the Referrer after all conditions in these Terms are met.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Program is open to all INOWATTIO users with a valid and active account.

2.2. A Referred User may already have an account, but the account must not be older than 2 days at the moment when the referral link is used.

If the account is older than 2 days, the referral cannot be applied.

Referral credit cannot be applied retroactively to older accounts.

2.3. A Referred User must not have previously validated a unit on their account before applying the referral link.

2.4. Both Referrer and Referred User must comply with INOWATTIO's general platform Terms of Service and applicable national regulations.

3. How the Referral Program Works
Step 1 – Sharing the Referral Link

The Referrer receives a unique referral link from their INOWATTIO account and may share it with friends, family, or other potential participants.

Step 2 – Applying the Referral Link

The Referred User must apply the referral link by either:

creating a new INOWATTIO account using the link, or

applying the link to an already-existing account that is no more than 2 days old.

Step 3 – First Unit Validation

The Referred User must register and complete validation of their first energy unit.
Validation includes all technical, regulatory, and operational checks required by INOWATTIO and/or national grid operators.

Step 4 – Reward Issuance

After the Referred User's first unit is successfully validated, the Referrer becomes eligible to receive their reward.
The reward will be issued to the Referrer's INOWATTIO account within a reasonable timeframe, typically between 1–30 days depending on processing requirements.

4. Reward Conditions

4.1. Rewards are granted only after all eligibility steps are completed.
4.2. Reward amounts, formats, or benefits may vary and are published by INOWATTIO inside the user's account or in promotional materials.
4.3. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly stated.
4.4. INOWATTIO reserves the right to withhold rewards if fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected.

5. Restrictions

5.1. Self-referrals (e.g., creating multiple accounts) are strictly prohibited.
5.2. Referrals for accounts older than 2 days at the time of link application are not eligible.
5.3. Referrals generated through spam, unauthorized advertising, misleading communication, or unapproved paid promotions are forbidden.
5.4. INOWATTIO may refuse or cancel referrals that do not meet the technical or regulatory criteria for unit validation.

6. Fraud Prevention & Compliance

6.1. INOWATTIO may audit referral activity at any time.
6.2. If fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms is detected, INOWATTIO may:

deny rewards

revoke previously issued rewards

suspend or terminate accounts
6.3. Participation must comply with all applicable laws and energy market regulations.

7. Changes to the Program

INOWATTIO reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice.
If the Program is terminated, pending but unvalidated referrals may not be eligible for rewards.

8. Limitation of Liability

INOWATTIO is not responsible for:

delays in technical validation caused by third-party grid operators, installers, or regulatory processes

incorrect sharing or misuse of referral links

losses resulting from unauthorized participation in the Program
